Greenleas Park Friday 25th March 2011
Another beautiful, sunny day. Let's go for a walk to the park and have some fun!
Southwick Beach (near Carrats) Thursday 24th March 2011
With so many of the children enjoying the sand and water at Kindergarten, it seemed silly not to take the children to a great big sand and water park-the beach! We all had so much fun throwing stones into the sea, making sandcastles, climbing on rocks and searching for sea creatures. Take a look at our photos x
Mayberry Garden Centre Tuesday 7th February 2011
With the better weather hopefully on its way, the sunshine has inspired us to get planting! Some of the children went with Lisa and Nikki to Mayberry to choose and buy spring bulbs, seeds and gardening tools. The staff were very helpful and kind to us, offering us advise on how to begin our new project. We really enjoyed our morning, and are looking forward to getting to work straight away!
The work begins...the children were all so excited about planting their spring flowers and bulbs. They were all very independent and proud of the garden make over! Once the veggie patch has been sieved, and all of the stones removed, they can begin work on planting their seeds. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Stamner Park Woods Thursday 20th January 2011
This was such a cold day! Our walk didn't last as long as planned, however, we were out just long enough to find some interesting things....can you spot the long winding path through the woods, the upturned tree, the horse shoe print in the dirt and the fresh green moss?
After a chilly morning exploring the woods we all needed our warm milk and raisins to warm us up! Yummy :)
Mile Oak Farm Tuesday 1st February 2011
We all wrapped up warm with hats, gloves, coats and wellies. A great time was had by all; feeding the chickens, splashing in the puddles, stroking the rabbits and chatting to the goats. We had a look around the farm shop to find out which fruits and vegetables were on sale. Before leaving we had a snack and drink.
