Our aim is to offer an alternative approach to early years education. We are passionate about offering children opportunities to learn and develop through a wide range of experiences and environments. We believe that children should be given opportunities to learn through the indoor and outdoor environments and the natural world around them every day.
As part of this approach we offer free-flow inside to outside settings that are designed to promote progression in all areas of learning and development. To expand these opportunities and offer learning experiences to a greater level we also plan to regularly use the local natural outdoor environment.
The curriculum for early years...
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which lays out the statutory requirements for all Early Years providers caring for children under 5 years old.
At our setting we embrace the EYFS approach and encourage the children to develop through their play using carefully planned environments and activities. Each child is valued as an individual, and each child receives an early years experience catered for their specific stage of development and their particular needs.
All of our staff have been selected because of their passion, enthusiasm and caring nature. We provide in-house training for all of our staff so that we are all providing the same high standard of care and education.
We welcome children and families of every ability, race, religion and gender and always endeavor to make our setting as accessible and welcoming for all. Should you have any specific requirements or suggestions to help us improve our settings accessibility we will receive them gratefully.
